Baptizing in historic waters!
All we hoped for and more!
Our family met up with our friends Darla and Ann from the baptism team to do a "pop up" baptism event at the historic Pirate's Cove, where many were baptized back in the days of the Jesus movement.
Kiah had been baptized here last year so it was extra special when Kayla gave us the go ahead to organize this one.
As we pulled into the parking lot a lady was immediately highlighted to Kiah, but she wasn't able to talk to her at the moment. So we got down into the cove to prepare and I started talking to the first couple people who showed up to be baptized. Then, out of nowhere, Kiah came and tapped me on the shoulder....this is where it gets ridiculous!
The lady Kiah saw earlier had noticed us welcoming folks from the rocks above. She approached us asking if we were baptising folks. We said yes, and asked if she was one of the folks that Kayla invited to join us. "No, I don't know anything about this. I am from ENGLAND and the Lord told me to fly here to be baptized. I just got here and saw you guys" 🫠🫠🫠 She literally just showed up believing a word from the Lord and He was faithful to provide everything she needed including the folks to baptize her when she arrived.🔥🤯.
Amber and I got to baptize her. Much healing and deliverance happened there in the ocean, it was an amazing time!
Darla's dad, who is over 80 years old recently decided to give his heart to Jesus and we baptized him as well. He called her on the way home to tell her how he couldn't wait to tell her what all happened while he was getting baptized. He was full of joy and she hadn't ever heard him so completely fired up for Jesus❤️
Before we started, since this is the first time we've done one of these pop ups on a public beach, we asked the Lord to send us someone from the beach that didn't come knowing about the baptism, but would be drawn to Him. Well, towards the end, a young man comes up and said he had been wanting to get baptized for some time and after watching for a while, he knew today was the day he was to do it!
Another lady stood for what seemed like 15 minutes in silence after we baptized her as the Lord rewired her to lay down fear and anxiety.
Another lady who came with a cane was healed and chucked the cane into the ocean after giving a shout of praise 🔥
It was a good day❤️. Thanks for all those prayers, the last leg of this trip is coming up with the San Diego Jesus gathering ❤️🔥
