The writing belongs to me

The essays, photos, letters, and other content on this site are written and owned by Jared Miller unless credited otherwise. You are welcome to read, share a link, quote a short passage with attribution, and forward the newsletter to a friend. You may not republish full posts, sell the writing, or feed it to a system that trains on it without my written permission.

What you send me

When you write to me through the subscribe form, the prayer form, or by email, you keep ownership of what you wrote. You give me permission to read it, reply to it, pray through it, and keep it on file so I can write back later. I will not publish anything you send me without asking first.

Use the site in good faith

Do not try to break into the site, scrape it beyond normal reading, abuse the forms, impersonate someone else, or use this site to harass another person. Do not submit anything illegal or anything that isn't yours to submit.

Links I don't run

Some pages link to other sites I find worth reading. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for what's on them. Follow a link at your own discretion.

No warranty

This site is offered as-is. I write carefully, but I can't guarantee the site will be available, error-free, or accurate in every detail. Nothing on this site is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. If a decision matters, talk to someone qualified before you act on something you read here.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. If a court finds I am liable for something, my total liability is capped at one hundred US dollars (US $100).

Changes

I may update these terms over time. When I do, I will change the effective date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where I am resident at the time of any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
