Vision
The Field
History
As a young believer, I (Jared) had asked the Lord many times, where have you called me? What is my job for the Kingdom? I still remember a trusted brother at the time praying for me and calling me a gleaner. A gleaner!? I almost physically recoiled at the thought. Who would want to be a gleaner? Getting the leftovers, the outcast, just scraping by, no field of your own, a wanderer. I tried to shake the name, but it continued to stick over the years, until something happened…I embraced it.
If the Lord calls me a gleaner then it must be a good thing, I thought. As time passed, I engaged the word and have come to see the beauty in gleaning. I enjoy finding value that others have left behind or unnoticed. Reaping what I did not sow, getting to harvest in others' fields, finding favor with the owner of the field, being lifted up at the appropriate time by the Master. As I engaged this word, something beautiful happened; God started doing amazing things in our family's life.
We started doing what I had dreamed of doing for so many years, but it seemed too fun to be a ministry! We started finding people who are bearing fruit for the kingdom and hearing their stories. People who may not have a big platform or a lot of recognition, but are producing the fruit that is worthy of investment. Simply put, people who produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control.
As we have done this, something beautiful has happened, and we've seen the Lord somehow weaving together a network of believers that has been beautiful to watch. The church is the body of believers, and the more we can come together and function as one, the more we truly look like the bride He is coming back for.
Mission
To find and bless those who are bearing fruit for the kingdom, encouraging them as the Lord enables us.
As we find these sheep and lift them up, the Lord will bring His flock together to move them to ever greener pastures. We strive to treat these sheep as we do Him.
We desire to go to the farthest reaches to identify and find these sheep with our Master and trust Him as He does the work of moving His sheep, weaving them into a beautiful tapestry. Ultimately, drawing the entire flock closer to His heart.
As we travel, the Lord will equip us to come alongside His people in every environment, not disrupting what He is already doing. Honoring and blending in with the workers of any field he sends us.
We will sow seeds wherever we go. These seeds will be sown in love and grace, which will bring victory. Rivers of living water will burst through any obstruction as we notice areas where they may be blocked. We desire to shine our lights as bright as the day as we enjoy the journey.
